This March 23, we invite you to join us for “Strengthening Our Community,” CASPAR’s annual spring fundraiser, taking place at the Courtyard Marriott Cambridge. The event will feature delicious food and drink, as well as the chance to bid on unique auction items and hear inspiring stories from those who have battled against addiction and homelessness.
This year, we are proud to be presenting the Carl F. Barron Catalyst for Change Award to Eric and Lori Lander and Family, for their longstanding support of CASPAR, their commitment to creating positive change in their communities, and their unwavering efforts to help the most vulnerable residents of Cambridge and Somerville. Lori is a painter, activist and the Founder of Many Helping Hands 365 and Cambridge MLK Day of Service. Eric is President and Founding Director of the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, and one of the principal leaders of the International Human Genome Project. We will also be saluting their children—Jessica, Daniel and David—all of whom share their parents’ commitment to social justice and philanthropy.
