Screening of “If Only”& Panel Discussion – Lexington

April 6 @ 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm

Jim Wahlberg’s powerful short film about addiction, “If Only,” will screen in Lexington next week. The 30-minute film was shot in Tewksbury and tells the story of two teenage boys who experiment with prescription drugs and spiral into addiction.

The film will be followed by a panel discussion with Wahlberg, Lexington Police Chief Mark Corr, LPS Prevention Specialist Julie Fenn, parent Melissa Weiksnar, person in recovery Anthony Sideri and Dr. Sion Kim Harris, assistant professor of pediatrics at Harvard Medical School and co-director of the Boston Children’s Hospital Center for Adolescent Substance Abuse Research.

Attendees will also be able to view the “Hidden in Plain Sight” display, a mockup of a teen bedroom with drug concealment items marketed to youth.
